Our Essence
At the age of 17, I decided to put a product in my hair called a perm so my hair could become straight. Unfortunately, I lost all the beauty of my Afro hair. That experience led me to start doing research until I came to understand that Afro hair is a treasure for Black women.
In 2016, I made the decision to cut off all my hair so I could regain the natural beauty of my Afro hair, but it was never easy because I didn’t know which products were good for it. I persevered with my research and got great results.
In 2020, when the coronavirus pandemic shut down the world, my job was on hold, so I took that opportunity to create a YouTube channel to share my knowledge. I was truly surprised by how much people appreciated the idea—many people around me started asking me about those products. And that’s how the business was born.
Since I have skills in technology, I went on to create my website to expand the business. Finding a name for the business was really difficult because my vision had grown—not only to sell natural hair products but also beauty accessories. And when you speak of beauty, you speak of elegance. That’s how I came up with the name Anna Elegant.
In 2023, the business reached another level, where I started offering even more opportunities, such as hair care products for adults, hair care products for children, and more.
